Vision

Ke Kula Kaiapuni 'O Pūʻōhala School is a place where students can think critically through their observations of their culture and community, show respect for past, present and future knowledge, have respectful values, and promote positive relationships to become powerful agents of change to better their world.

Mission

Pūʻōhala School empowers students by developing strong foundations of ʻike kupuna, positive relationships and lifelong learning.

To achieve the ideals stated in both the vision and mission statements the teachers and staff strive to provide a learning environment and academic program that supports proficient academic achievement while nurturing civic responsibility.  A rigorous, standards-based curriculum where students can receive help when they need it is the basis of the Pūʻōhala scholastic program. School and classroom success is built on the 5Rs: Respect, Responsibility, Relationships, Resilience and Resourcefulness.
