Breakfast is served between 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Lunch is served starting from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.(grades K-6)
Exceptions are made if grade levels or classes are away on field trips or special events.
Healthy snacks may be brought to school to be eaten at recess only.
We want to encourage our keiki to eat all of their nutritious lunch. Mahalo.
Students need to have money in their account before purchasing their meals.

Free or Reduced Lunch Online Application
The Department's School Food Services Branch has a web-based site that will provide families with the option to submit applications for Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program-Price Meal Benefits online. The online program will walk parents and guardians through an easy step-by-step application process. Schools will continue to forward eligibility notifications to households.
Applications are also available at our school office. Information will be kept confidential and requires a statement regarding family size and monthly or annual family income.

NOTE: WE RECEIVE OUR TITLE I STATUS THROUGH OUR PERCENTAGE OF FREE/REDUCED QUALIFYING STUDENTS. THIS ALLOWS US TO HAVE ADDITIONAL FEDERAL FUNDS TO HELP OUR SCHOOL.
NOTE 2: Any households with TANF recipients residing within, covers all student members of the household under this application.
On April 7, 2015 the Board of Education approved a change in school meal prices in accordance with a 2009 state law requiring the Hawaii State Department of Education to charge at least half the cost of preparing the meals.

All students eat school lunch or bring a balanced nutritious home lunch daily. Meals are to be eaten in the designated areas of the cafeteria. No food is to be taken out of the cafeteria.
All menus include a half-pint of milk
Students with milk related allergies will be given water instead of milk with their lunch. The school health aide will need a letter from your child's physician explaining the cause for an exception. Parents may provide a water bottle/thermos for their child in lieu of juice.

Students in grades 4, 5 and 6 are assigned to serve in the cafeteria. This is an opportunity for students to participate and observe the "world of work" in the school setting. A free lunch is provided to all lunch monitors. Students who serve as monitors are required to:
